Dharmikarama Burmese Temple
Dharmikarama Burmese Temple is the only Burmese Buddhist temple outside Myanmar. Located in Georgetown Penang, it stands opposite Wat Chayamangkalaram Temple, with a pair of large stone elephants flanking the front gates. Inside the pagoda grounds is a Boddhi tree, a wishing pond and apartments for monks.
Gurney Plaza is a waterfront shopping mall in Penang. Opened in 2001, it has three anchor tenants: Parkson Grand, the 12-screen Golden Screen Cinemas and Cold Storage supermarket. Additionally, the nine-storey mall houses over 380 stores with brands such as Coach, Fossil, Versace, and more. Approximately three km northwest of Georgetown, located along the popular Gurney Drive, Gurney Plaza is the second-largest mall on the island and is 858,000sqft in size.
Gurney Drive Hawker Centre
Home to the biggest variety of street food in Penang is the iconic Gurney Drive Hawker Centre (right beside Gurney Plaza Mall). It is a great place to sample some of the best local cuisine on the island.
Church of Immaculate Conception
Church of the Immaculate Conception is a church and parish founded in 1811 and is the second oldest church in Penang. It is a 10 minutes drive from the Hotel.

Also known as the Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion with its indigo-blue outer walls makes it very hard to miss. The mansion is eclectic, but mainly reflects Chinese architectural styles of the Imperial period. Take the daily guided mansion tours to experience the history behind its architecture.
Built in 1786, Fort Cornwallis is the largest standing fort in Malaysia. The star-shaped bastion is on of the oldest structures in Penang and was named after Marquis Charles Cornwallis. The fort was built for the Royal artillery troops and as a defensive structure against pirates.
Pinang Peranakan Mansion
Showcase a typical home of the Babas and Nyonyas who was a prominent community of Chinese who adopted some customs and lifestyle of the local Malays hence creating a culture and lifestyle unique to them. The Pinang Peranakan Mansion displays eclectic design and architecture, incorporating Chinese carved-wood panels, English floor tiles and many antiques and collectibles of the era.
Kapitan Keling Mosque
The Kapitan Keling Mosque was built around 1800 and by Indian Muslim traders and was named after Caudeer Mohuddeen the head of the Indian Muslim community. The original building was a small single storey brick mosque but over the years has been expanded till what it is today while still maintaining its original architecture
Sun Yat Sen Museum
The Sun Yat Sen Museum is a beautifully-preserved house museum and has a permanent exhibition on Sun Yat Sen’s early revolutionary period in Penang when he planned a historic uprising of the China Revolution of 1911.
